Impressions of Seoul: a City Constantly in a State of Change
I once heard Seoul described as “Tokyo in a bad mood”. While I’m not sure how much I agree with that statement myself, there’s no denying that the city has a bit of that “chaotic energy” that one can find in certain Asian cities.
Seoul is changing at a blisteringly fast pace, much like other cities across Korea — old neighborhoods are being leveled to make room for luxury developments. The best thing anyone can do is to document the city as it is today.
